What is SECURE.POST?

The postal sector is at increasing risk of cyberattacks, which can result in loss of data, disruption of services, and damage to reputation. SECURE.POST is the Universal Postal Union's (UPU) web-based public awareness and cyber capacity-building platform to provide Posts, and the wider postal sector, with access to resources and materials from global cybersecurity alliances and other reputable content partners to better understand and manage cybersecurity risks, enhance their resilience to cyberthreats, and maintain the trust of their customers and stakeholders. When complete, SECURE.POST offers resources and tools for postal operators to improve their cybersecurity and cyberhygiene practices, which may include:

• Cybersecurity best practices for postal organisations, covering areas like risk assessment, incident response, and business continuity planning.

• Cybersecurity awareness and training materials for employees and customers, addressing topics such as phishing awareness, password hygiene, and safe online behavior.
